From Outside Magazine:
A die-hard community of outdoor hockey enthusiasts yearn for the coldest months of the year to arrive and stay as long as possible. This group is led by icemakers who spend hundreds of hours creating and meticulously caring for these winter sanctuaries. Then, there are the skaters who put the icemaker’s hard work to the test.
